A referral is not required to attend appointments. Medicare rebates are available only with an appropriate referral from your GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist.

Karen is a registered clinical psychologist who established her private practice in 2008 and now practises in Malvern. With over 20 years experience, she has always chosen to work with children, adolescents and families.
She is an AHPRA-registered clinical psychologist, a full member of the Australian Psychological Society, a member of the College of Clinical Psychologists, and is eligible to provide clinical psychology services under Medicare.
A referral is not required to attend appointments. However, Medicare rebates are available with an appropriate referral from your GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist. Private health insurance rebates may also be applicable depending on your health fund and level of cover.
Fees can be discussed at the time of referral.
